Fix for Weather icon not changing

On non-fahrenheit regions, the weather icon sometimes doesn't change to the themed-icon.
To fix this problem folow these steps:

In the info.plist file in the weather.app, delete the following key with the PropertyList editor:
SBIconClass

Done :).

What does this do exactly? Change the icon of the current weather on the iTouch? Cause mine does stay always on the sun on 23 degrees celcius. Does this fix make sure it's updated to the current weather?

No, this fix makes sure the themed icon can be applied. People who are using Celsius as their degree indicator got problems with customizing the icons. This fix makes sure the icon get's themed properly.

Which property list editor did you use? I tried using the Propertylist editor in Leopard but I could not open the document.

Nevermind. I figured out that I have to copy the entire Weather.app with some tool like the mobilefinder sync tool, modify info.plist in the app package and then send it back over to the iTouch again.

I was trying to edit the preferences plist for the app.

How would one go about changing/deleting this using a computer running Windows ?

I had a quick "google" and PropertyList editor appears to be something for OS.X only ?

Thanks...
